Over its more than 200-year history, Encyclopµdia Britannica has featured numerous noteworthy articles, many written by well-known figures such as Sigmund Freud and Orville Wright. With Classics Browse, you can find some of these articles from past editions of the Encyclopµdia Britannica. Follow these steps to browse the Classics:
Choose the Encyclopµdia Britannica Library.
Click the Browse button above the Workspace.
Click the Classics icon at the top of the Control Panel.
View the outline of articles below the Control Panel. Classic articles are organized by title, edition, and author.
Click the right arrows to expand headings and view more article titles.
Click the down arrows to collapse sections of the outline when you are finished viewing them.
Use the scrollbar to move through the list of headings and articles in the Classics Browse.
Click on bold headings to open an article in the Workspace.
